Promise Uganda
Project, through the Visionary and practical Leadership of
Pastor Michael Lutalo We have identified a need, our desire
and plan is to rescue these younger wounded children and put
them in a safe home. We have lived here and have seen the dark
days of Idi Amin and the wars and then the aids scourge, out
of a deep caring heart we feel it is our responsibility to
help this generation.
Our focus and goal is to
rebuild damaged lives and offer people genuine hope. We have
planted several churches in the slum areas and seen allot of
people die and lots of kids left behind only to suffer.
Our vision is to build up a
children’s center that will cater for up to 1000 children in a
secure and caring environment for rehabilitation, Education,
recreation, counseling and teaching them to farm and other
work that can help them become responsible citizens.
The center will be built in
three phases. First phase will include: 9 class rooms, a
chapel, 3 dormitories, 9 rooms for teachers residences, Dining
/kitchen hall, Administration block, sick-bay/clinic, library,
playgrounds and a recreation hall.
