Here we have neither Jews nor Gentiles. We strive to serve all people. They all belong to one God. As you come in and out ask yourself, “What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?...I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord”
(Psalms 116:12-13)

The appointed Harvesters Radio program is on air every day with the listener ship of around one million people in the country. Reaching people over the Radio wave is some thing that is changing thousands every year in Uganda. At least every home can afford having a small radio; this is a great opportunity to reach the lost, train believers and to proclaim the word of God.

We are looking forward to a great harvest in 2006 and we ask for your prayers for God's guidance and protection in al lthat all that we are going to do.
The ministry undertakes several projects which include:

  1. Church Planting
  2. Appointed harvesters medical center
  3. The Promise Uganda Child Care project
  4. Adult education
DID YOU KNOW
In Africa more than 25 million people are infected with HIV/ AIDS There are more that 12 million AIDS orphans in Africa Uganda is one of the most affected countries. Uganda being one of the African nations to acknowledge the problem is also the first to see the rates of infection fall dramatically through the Government efforts and Christian organizations to preach the gospel of abstinence. But the problem of those kids who are left behind weighs heavily on communities already desperately poor. What amazes is, it is the elderly, the grandparents and some times the spiritual leaders who are left to look after the younger children. The old watch their children die and are heart broken and mystified. AIDS has left families in allot of pain.
THE VISION

Promise Uganda Project, through the Visionary and practical Leadership of Pastor Michael Lutalo We have identified a need, our desire and plan is to rescue these younger wounded children and put them in a safe home. We have lived here and have seen the dark days of Idi Amin and the wars and then the aids scourge, out of a deep caring heart we feel it is our responsibility to help this generation.

Our focus and goal is to rebuild damaged lives and offer people genuine hope. We have planted several churches in the slum areas and seen allot of people die and lots of kids left behind only to suffer.

Our vision is to build up a children’s center that will cater for up to 1000 children in a secure and caring environment for rehabilitation, Education, recreation, counseling and teaching them to farm and other work that can help them become responsible citizens.

The center will be built in three phases. First phase will include:  9 class rooms, a chapel, 3 dormitories, 9 rooms for teachers residences, Dining /kitchen hall, Administration block, sick-bay/clinic, library, playgrounds and a recreation hall.
